Carel was admitted as an attorney in 2006 after serving articles at the Pretoria firm Macintosh, Cross and Farquharson.

As a young attorney Carel saw the Employment Labour Department at Blake Bester flourish and built up a wealth of knowledge and experience.

During 2009 Carel made a strategic decision of starting a practice aimed at providing specialised services to clients.

Carel currently boasts a client base of several JSE listed companies and major pension funds and advises clients on Employment and Employment benefits law and interacts with the FSB and pension fund adjudicator on a regular basis on behalf of his clients.

Carel has an extensive insolvency litigation and civil litigation practice and advices clients on all aspects thereof. He holds a LLB degree from University of Pretoria, a post Graduate (AIPSA) diploma in insolvency law and has completed his diploma in advanced corporate law at the university of Johannesburg.

Carel has dealt with various complex tax related disputes for high-net-worth individuals, and corporates, and is currently reading towards his MCom degree with specialisation in tax at Wits university.

Carel is a member of SASLAW, an association of labour practitioners as well as its international counterpart, the ILO.

Lynsey completed her LLB at the University of Johannesburg in 2006, thereafter she commenced her articles at Blake Bester Attorneys in 2007.

Lynsey worked in the employment law department and gained enormous exposure therein, in order to broaden her knowledge, she completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Labour Law also through the University of Johannesburg.

After 5 years at Blake Bester she moved to Mohamed Randera & Associates to gain exposure in other areas of law, namely family law and general litigation. 

In August 2015 Lynsey joined Crafford Attorneys to once again work in the field of employment law where her passion lies.

In her spare time Lynsey plays Roller Derby and was selected for the Joburg All Stars team, which team competes both on a national and international level.

Michele attained her LLB degree from the University of South Africa (UNISA) in 2010.

She started working at Crafford Attorneys in 2010 as a legal secretary and commenced her articles of clerkship in 2013. Today, Michele is one of the business partners at Crafford Attorneys. 

She has gained experience in the field of employment law and is specifically interested in pension fund litigation and Labour disputes. 

Michele is very passionate about children and animals and is involved in numerous welfare projects.

Bronwyn is employed as a personal assistant at Crafford Attorneys. She has a BA degree in English and Media giving her a creative edge when dealing with the day to day complexities of working at a law firm. 

Her extensive background in English has allowed her to gain the necessary skills to assist in all aspects of the law with ease. 

After working at Crafford Attorneys for over a year now, she has developed a keen interest in furthering her knowledge of the law.

Bronwyn is passionate about music and cinema, and spends most of her leisure time indulging in either one of the two.
